A Trip to the Holy Land: Visiting End of History in Manhattan
Labels:
end of history,
glass,
mid-century
Excuse my overtly religious references but for anyone who loves mid-century glass, you know that one of the must-see stops is The End of History shop in New York. EOH is the preeminent authority on cased glass, especially of the Scandinavian and Italian variety. If you're looking to collect, style, or simply invest in fine glass, look no further.
While there on business this past weekend, I had a chance to stop in and chat with owner Stephen Saunders. He was incredibly helpful in helping me identify unknown pieces from my own collection as well as providing some wonderful information on items there in the store.
My visit to the shop was like going to church and I regularly found myself clutching at my own body in sheer joy of the beautiful pieces around me. It was also great to see my pal BJ Las PoƱas' stunning sculptures in a upscale NY retail outlet. Here are some photos to drool over.

I had a similar religious experience at EOH. It's a grown up candy store and a must visit every time I'm in NYC. thanks for all those delicious photos too.
Yum!
THank you for letting me live vicariously through your camera/eyes. I'll never get there, so it is a joy to see it!
